His beautiful white coat helps him blend into the snow, and then as the seasons change so will his coat to a grey/brown helping him blend into the tundra.

Winter Wonderland!
The Yukon Territory is an amazing place in winter – beautiful snow covered landscapes. Snowmobiling, dog sledding and just photographing the scenery. Whitehorse is a great little town and of course the Yukon Quest is a highlight in February!

A cold snap!
Well, the first two days in Whitehorse have been an opportunity to experience life in extreme temperatures. It’s been -35 to -40 celcius but we’ve rugged up warm and still got out.

Arrived in Whitehorse today and the temp is a brisk -35c but there’s cloud so probably no chance of seeing the lights tonight. Promising to be clear tomorrow so who knows?
